Introduction to Illustration, Perspective & Shading

A 6 Week Illustration Course.

Why this course?

This 6 week E-Course serves as a roadmap for understanding the discipline of perspective drawing, shading and software workflows. Starting with a foundation in perspective Steve builds on these concepts to create an original illustration that starts on paper and ends in pixels.

Is there homework?

Kind of. We want you to follow along with each weeks lesson by doing your own version. If Steve is doing a 1 point illustration, then you should attempt your own 1 point based on the lesson. Even doing these simple exercises will help you master these concepts.

What will I know by the end?

By the end of this course you will know; how perspective works, purpose of horizon line, shading techniques, placing a light source, building artwork in Illustrator and custom painting techniques in Photoshop.

When does it start?

Right when you sign up! This is an e-course which is available upon signing up and will give you lifetime access to view these materials and source files. You can take your time or go quickly through the materials, the timeline is up to you. We reccommend spacing it out over 6 weeks to give yourself time to focus on each aspect more closely.
